This study creates a landfill design application in a server that can be accessed by engineers via the World Wide Web. Through this system, engineers can complete a side slope design and/or landfill evaluation. Instead of using traditional engineering computation techniques to analyze a problem, this study presents a new method that uses a database to analyze landfill slope stability problems. Creating usable databases for interpolation and engineering requirements are the two important topics reported here. This study demonstrates that the proposed technique save significant time in a problem solving timesaving and a good tool for e-learning. The proposed method uses an open design environment through the WWW and presents diverse results from the databases. The desired side slope landfill angle can be interpolated by assigning a safety factor and other problem requirements. The results of this system are not easily merits using the current prevailing engineering analysis computer programs.
