JISE Submission Policy
We do not handle papers that are outside the research areas of our editors. Therefore, you must choose two Associate Editors whose interests are most relevant to your paper to handle its initial processing. If they decide that your paper is outside their areas or they cannot find people willing to review your paper, it will be rejected without review. Should that happen, you are advised to submit it elsewhere.

AI Policy
* Authors must ensure that all cited materials have clear and accurate attributions.
* Ultimate Responsibility: The author bears final responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of all content.
* Citation Requirements: Original sources must be cited in the "References" section. Additionally, the specific AI models used and their purposes must be disclosed in either the "Methods" or "Acknowledgements" section.
* AI-Generated Figures/Images Policy:
(i) General Rule: AI-generated images or data are generally not accepted.
(ii) Exceptions: Exceptions may be made for legally license images, images directly related to AI research, or images generated from primary scientific data.
(iii) Exclusions: Tables, flowcharts, and similar structural elements are not subject to these restrictions.
* Authors must declare the use of AI in the submission system and provide a description of the AI tools used and their specific purposes.

Page-charge Policy
Papers may be up to 12 pages long, following the format of the MS Word template. A charge of US$100 will be applied to each page beyond that limit.

Length of Review
Because of various factors, papers take different lengths of time to review. In many cases the review result will come in approximately six months.

Notice
Authors should not change a paper that has been accepted or is under review. Failure to comply with our policy may result in withdrawal of your paper and jeopardize future submissions.
